In Denmark there are many lakes where the quality of the water is extremely good. These lakes are given the Blue Flag.

In Ringsted you have a Blue Flag Beach and Haraldsted Lake has for at least 5 year consecutively been given the Blue Flag.

On the North side of the lake you can walk along the bank for about 5.5 km enjoying the birds and the crooked beeches on the banks.

The Blue Flag Season is from 5 June to 15 September. The Mayor of Ringsted will hoist the flag on 12 June at 2 pm.
